ASTM A182 Grade F22 Couplings (Companion to B16 Bolting)

The ASTM A182 Grade F22 Coupling is a short, small-diameter pipe fitting used to join two pipe sections or to provide a threaded or socket-weld access point in a line. Manufactured via a forging or machining process, these couplings utilize the Chromium-Molybdenum (2.25% Cr) alloy steel that exhibits excellent strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures, making it the ideal companion material for B16 bolting. Couplings can be Full Couplings (connecting two pipes) or Half Couplings (for branching off a larger pipe). The F22 Couplings are essential for maintaining pressure boundary integrity in high-pressure steam lines and equipment within thermal power plants and refineries where high thermal stability is required. Zeron Fasteners manufactures these fittings to the rigorous A182 F22 specification for seamless integration with B16 bolted systems.
