Resilient Seated Gate Valves

Resilient Seated Gate Valves (Soft Seated Sluice Valves) feature a precision cast ductile iron wedge completely encapsulated with a thick layer of vulcanized high-grade elastomer (EPDM or NBR). Unlike traditional metal-seated gate valves that require a bottom body pocket to receive the wedge, resilient gate valves feature a flat, unobstructed straight-through waterway with zero pocket where gravel, grit, or pipeline debris can accumulate.

Zeron Fastners manufactures Resilient Seated Gate Valves conforming to AWWA C509/C515, BS 5163, and EN 1171. Built in high-tensile Ductile Iron (GGG50) in sizes 2" to 48" (DN50 - DN1200) with non-rising stem (NRS) or rising stem (OS&Y). 100% coated inside and outside with fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) to prevent tuberculation and corrosion across potable water distribution and sewage treatment networks.
