Buttwelded Butterfly Valves (Welded End Butterfly Valves) are permanent in-line isolation valves designed with weld-prep end necks conforming to ASME B16.25. By permanently welding the valve directly into the pipeline, buttweld butterfly valves completely eliminate flanged gasket joints, potential bolt relaxation, and hazardous fugitive emission leak points across buried gas grids, supercritical steam lines, and high-pressure district heating networks.
Zeron Fastners manufactures Triple Offset Buttwelded Butterfly Valves in Class 150#, Class 300#, and Class 600# in sizes 3" to 48". Fabricated in ASTM A216 WCB, A352 LCC, and Stainless Steel (CF8M) with Stellite metal-to-metal seats. Suitable for extreme thermal cycling and direct subterranean burial.
