Electric Actuated Butterfly Valves (also termed Motorized Butterfly Valves) utilize high-torque electric motors and precision gear trains to rotate the valve disc through 90 degrees. Ideal for automated installations where compressed instrument air lines are unavailable or inconvenient, electric butterfly valves offer smooth operation, precise electronic positioning, and seamless integration with plant PLC and SCADA control networks.
Zeron Fastners couples heavy-duty weatherproof (IP67/IP68) and explosion-proof electric actuators to our wafer, lug, and flanged butterfly valves. Available in On/Off and Modulating (4-20mA / 0-10V signal) configurations, featuring manual declutchable handwheel overrides, internal torque switches, travel limit switches, and optional battery backup fail-safe mechanisms. Powered by 24V DC, 110V AC, 230V AC, or 415V 3-Phase AC supplies.
