Full Body Lined Butterfly Valves are specially engineered corrosion-barrier valves designed to handle highly aggressive, toxic, and pure chemical media where metallic surfaces would undergo rapid chemical corrosion or contamination. In a lined butterfly valve, the entire inner wetted surface of the ductile iron or carbon steel body, as well as the disc and stem, is completely encapsulated with a thick, high-density fluoropolymer liner such as Virgin PTFE, PFA, or FEP.
Zeron Fastners manufactures premium Lined Butterfly Valves conforming to API 609 and EN 593. The fluoropolymer liner is securely mechanically locked into the body casting and energized by resilient silicone or Viton backing cushions, ensuring bubble-tight bi-directional sealing. Ideal for hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, wet chlorine gas, bleach solutions, and semiconductor high-purity chemical processing.
