Jacketed Ball Valves are specially fabricated heated valves featuring an external secondary welded metallic heating jacket that surrounds the primary pressure vessel. By continuously circulating steam, hot thermal oil, or heated water through the jacket chamber, these valves maintain media temperatures above solidification thresholds, preventing liquid asphalt, molten sulfur, heavy bitumen, resins, and polymers from cooling, seizing, or freezing within the valve internals.
Zeron Fastners manufactures Full Body Jacketed and Partial Body Jacketed Ball Valves conforming to ASME B16.34 and API 6D. Available with oversized connection flanges to allow standard pipeline bolting clearances without jacket interference. Built in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel (304/316/316L), and Hastelloy with metal-to-metal or cavity-filled high-temperature PTFE/PEEK seats.

|---|---|
| Full Body Jacketed Ball Valves | Heating jacket extends from flange to flange, covering the entire body and neck cavity. |
| Partial Body Jacketed Valves | Jacket covers the central body bowl, preserving standard face-to-face dimensions. |
| Cavity Filled Jacketed Valves | Eliminates empty body dead zones where viscous fluids could solidify and lock the ball. |
| High Temperature Hot Oil Valves | Grafoil live-loaded stem seals engineered for continuous +350°C thermal oil loop service. |
