Alloy Steel High-Temperature Pipe Reducer

The Alloy Steel High-Temperature Pipe Reducer is manufactured to the ASTM A234 Grade WP11 standard, a specification for butt-weld fittings made from Chromium-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) Alloy Steel. This material is engineered for use in piping systems that operate at elevated pressures and continuous high temperatures, common in power generation and chemical processing sectors. The primary function of the Reducer is to transition smoothly between two different pipe sizes, available in Concentric (for centerline alignment) or Eccentric (for alignment on one side, typically the bottom). While ASTM A194 Grade 4 is the correct nut material for bolting flanged connections in these systems, the WP11 alloy ensures the Reducer itself provides the necessary strength and thermal stability. Zeron Fasteners manufactures these fittings conforming to dimensional standards like ASME B16.9.
