SS 304 Lap Joint Flanges

SS 304 Lap Joint Flanges (LJ Flanges) are unique piping components designed for systems requiring frequent and rapid dismantling for cleaning or inspection, or where quick bolt hole alignment is necessary. The flange itself is loose and freely slips over a Stub End fitting (which is butt-welded to the pipe), allowing the flange to be rotated for easy bolt positioning without rotating the pipe. Manufactured using forging processes, the SS 304 material provides excellent general corrosion resistance, making these flanges ideal for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical batch processing applications. Since the flange material does not contact the process fluid, cost savings can sometimes be achieved by using a high-alloy stub end with a standard SS 304 flange.
