Alloy Steel High-Temperature Pipe Tee

The Alloy Steel High-Temperature Pipe Tee is manufactured to the ASTM A234 Grade WP11 standard, a specification for butt-weld fittings made from Chromium-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) Alloy Steel. This material is specially formulated for use in piping systems that operate at elevated pressures and continuous high temperatures, common in the power generation and chemical processing sectors. The primary function of the Tee is to allow a fluid or gas stream to be split or combined, typically branching at a 90° angle. While ASTM A194 Grade 4 is the correct nut material for bolting flanged connections in these systems, the WP11 alloy ensures the Tee itself provides the necessary strength and thermal stability. Zeron Fasteners manufactures these fittings in both Equal and Reducing configurations, conforming to dimensional standards like ASME B16.9.
