Duplex and Super Duplex UNS S32760 Lap Joint Flanges

The Duplex and Super Duplex UNS S32760 Lap Joint Flange (LJF) is a unique forging component designed for piping systems where ease of alignment and maintenance are critical. The LJF slides freely over the pipe (or, more accurately, over the accompanying Stub End) and is not welded to it. This design allows the flange to freely rotate, simplifying the lining up of bolt holes for quick assembly and disassembly. The integrity of the connection is maintained by the Stub End, which is butt-welded to the pipe and manufactured from the highly corrosion-resistant Super Duplex UNS S32760 alloy (also known as F55 or Zeron 100). This F55 alloy provides superior mechanical strength and the highest level of protection against pitting and chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Zeron Fasteners manufactures and supplies these specialized flanges and their required Stub Ends in compliance with standards like ASME B16.5 and the material specification ASTM A182 F55.
