Nickel Alloys Inconel 718 Lap Joint Flanges

Nickel Alloys Inconel 718 Lap Joint Flanges (LJF) are a two-piece connection system consisting of a loose backing flange and a short, stub-end piece that is butt-welded to the pipe. This unique design permits free rotation of the flange for easy alignment with mating bolts, which is highly advantageous in complex or frequently dismantled piping systems. Manufactured from Inconel 718 (UNS N07718), this flange system inherits the alloy’s exceptional properties, including very high tensile and creep-rupture strength, and superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation at elevated temperatures. Zeron Fastners supplies these flanges primarily to the aerospace, nuclear, and high-temperature petrochemical sectors where the ability to easily assemble/disassemble joints without compromising material integrity is vital.
