SS 310 Slip-On Flanges
The SS 310 Slip-On Flange (often abbreviated as SO Flange) is a popular type of piping component characterized by its large inner bore, which allows the pipe to simply "slip into" the flange before being fillet welded at both the inside and outside of the hub. This design makes the SO flange easier to align and install than a Weld Neck Flange, resulting in lower installation costs. These flanges are forged from Stainless Steel Grade 310, an advanced austenitic alloy that provides excellent oxidation resistance and maintains structural integrity in continuous service up to 1035°C.
