SS 321 Reducers

SS 321 Reducers are specialized pipe fittings used to connect two pipes of different diameters, allowing for a smooth transition in flow area. They come in two primary forms: Concentric Reducers (where the centers are aligned) and Eccentric Reducers (where one side is flat, typically for horizontal liquid lines). These reducers are manufactured from Stainless Steel Grade 321, an austenitic alloy stabilized with Titanium. The Titanium prevents chromium carbide precipitation, ensuring the reducer maintains its full resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or prolonged exposure to high operating temperatures (up to 850°C).
