SS 347 Screws, also known as UNS S34700, are premium mechanical fasteners made from a stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy. What sets this material apart is the addition of Niobium (Columbium), which effectively prevents chromium carbide precipitation during welding or high-temperature exposure (425°C to 816°C). This feature makes our screws, supplied by Zeron Fasteners, highly suitable for critical applications in chemical processing, aerospace, and oil/gas industries where resistance to intergranular corrosion is paramount. They offer excellent strength, good ductility, and outstanding corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments.
