Incoloy 800 Socket Weld Flanges
Incoloy 800 Socket Weld Flanges are highly preferred fittings, manufactured by Zeron Fastners, for
use in small-diameter, high-pressure piping systems. This specialized fitting features a recessed
area (socket) into which the pipe is inserted before welding with a single fillet weld outside. The
use of Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800), a nickel-iron-chromium alloy, ensures high corrosion resistance and
exceptional strength, particularly against oxidation and carburization in high-temperature service.
Socket Weld Flanges are known for their strength and their ability to prevent internal weld residue,
which is critical in corrosive or demanding fluid service. They are widely utilized in chemical, oil
and gas, and power generation industries where leakage integrity is paramount and frequent
disassembly is not required.
