Hastelloy C276 Slip-On Flanges

The Hastelloy C276 Slip-On Flange (SO Flange) is a popular, cost-effective flange type distinguished by its inner diameter being slightly larger than the outer diameter of the pipe. This design allows the flange to easily slide onto the pipe before being secured by fillet welding on both the inside and outside surfaces. Supplied by Zeron Fasteners, these flanges utilize the nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy composition of Hastelloy C276 to achieve exceptional corrosion resistance against aggressive chemicals, particularly in environments susceptible to pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Slip-On Flanges are primarily used for medium-pressure, non-critical piping applications where ease of alignment and assembly speed are key. They are commonly employed in processing lines and utility services within the Chemical Processing and Pharmaceutical industries, complying with ASME B16.5 standards.
