Incoloy 825 Blind Flanges

Incoloy 825 Blind Flanges are solid disk-like fittings, manufactured by Zeron Fastners, used to completely seal off the ends of piping, valves, or pressure vessel openings. The primary function is to isolate sections of a pipeline for maintenance, future extension, or for pressure testing the system. The material, Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), is a high-performance nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. This exceptional composition provides outstanding immunity to stress-corrosion cracking in chloride-rich environments and superior resistance to reducing acids (like sulfuric and phosphoric acid). The Blind Flange is secured by bolting it to an existing flange face, requiring high-strength bolting and a robust gasket seal to ensure absolute isolation in severe service environments.
