Incoloy 825 Socket Weld Flanges

Incoloy 825 Socket Weld Flanges are highly specialized pipe fittings, manufactured by Zeron Fastners, commonly used in small-diameter, high-pressure piping systems. This fitting features a recessed area (the socket) into which the pipe end is inserted and then secured with a fillet weld outside. The use of Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), a nickel-iron-chromium alloy enhanced with molybdenum and copper, ensures high corrosion resistance and exceptional strength. The alloy provides superior immunity to stress-corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing environments and excellent performance against reducing acids (like sulfuric and phosphoric acid). Socket Weld Flanges are known for their high static strength and are ideal for applications where internal flow disruption must be minimized, though they are not suitable where thermal cycling is severe. They are widely utilized in chemical, oil and gas, and power generation industries.
